POKOTABI / Honeycomb Coffee
HONEYCOMB COFFEE
Located in a residential corner of Osaki, HONEYCOMB COFFEE offers varied Basque cheesecake tasting sets, signature Honeycomb Lattes, and brunch plates in a relaxed space.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Set back in a peaceful residential pocket of Osaki, HONEYCOMB COFFEE welcomes visitors into an airy café anchored by white and green tones, serving Basque cheesecakes, sweet treats, and carefully brewed drinks. Gentle natural light filters through the glass front onto well-spaced tables, making it an easy place to unwind without ceremony.
The main draw here is the signature Basque cheesecake. Baked with a richly caramelized surface that yields to a silky, melting centre, it delivers a deeply moist, milky richness. Alongside the plain original, monthly rotating flavours are offered, and a tasting set brings several varieties onto one plate, letting you savour subtle differences in texture and aroma side by side.
To drink, the namesake Honeycomb Latte is a natural pairing. Crisp, bittersweet espresso meets the mellow sweetness of honey, creating an evolving cup as you stir the syrup resting at the bottom. Those wanting a cleaner finish can choose an Americano, while tea drinkers have options such as the Honeycomb Tea or organic tea blends to suit their mood.
Beyond sweets, the café serves hearty daytime fare for breakfast or lunch. The croque madame plate layers thick-cut bacon, house béchamel, and a fried egg, while the coarse ground sausage pie bakes savory fillings inside crisp pastry. Bowls such as the acai bowl, topped with generous fresh fruit and granola, provide another substantial light-meal option.
Equipped with Wi-Fi and power outlets, the room invites guests to settle in with a book or open a laptop for a spot of work at their own pace. Certain seats welcome dogs, lending the café a neighbourhood feel where stopping by during a stroll for a cake and coffee to go feels entirely at home.
